LIVE IN RELATION - NOT A TABOO IN INDIA

Till yesterday, the word Baptism was confined with the religion, but in India, the middle class people of the urban areas are getting baptized with the western Culture and it is not at all astonishing to know that the ‘Live In Relation’ is no more a taboo, in the country, like India, who hold a track of culture and traditions, from the period of ancient ages.

Now it has become a difficult job for the society to differentiate between moralities and illicit relations, between man and woman.

Our honorable Courts, in India, somehow, have shown too much of sympathy towards the women, who have intentionally’ opted to live together, with a person for the reason best known to them.

It is a matter of fact that the woman, in question, who are living too far from her family, get in love with her colleague, in the office, where both are working together. The isolation from the parent drove the woman towards male counterpart, just to satisfy the felling of security, at the hand of a boy friend and later on makeup her mind to live together with boy friend for biological need for each other, which take place, without informing the parent or the family from where she belong.

According to media reporting, appeared today, in Amar Ujala-Compact, a Hindi dailies, published at Allahabad, the District Court of Khandwa, M.P., in view of sympathy towards a woman, in his recent order, have made a peculiar order to a married man, Mr. Basant Mahulal, to keep his Live In Relation’s friend, in the same house, where his wedded wife reside, the Court have also ordered that  the married have to keep two women , in a separate room, at the same premises, the said  man  have to spare fifteen days for each woman, in each month, in the night.

It is worth mentioning that the said that Mr. Mahulal, apart from living with his wife, also use to live with a woman, as a Live In relation, since ten years.

The wedded wife, two years ago, have filed a complaint in the Parivar Paramarsh Kendra to rescue herself from the illicit relationship of her husband. The order of the District court is peculiar in this sense that Court did not take any cognizance, against Mr.Mahulal for his role in Bigamy and the Bigamy, at the eyes of law, is sufficient enough to put the Mr. Mahulal behind the bar, but instead, the said Court have rewarded the Mr. Mahulal to keep two women, in the same house, in wake of sympathy towards the Live In Relation friend.

However, in the past, the Supreme Court has given direction that the status of the ‘Live in Relation’ should be considered, as a marriage, between two.

The apex Court have further ordered that domestic violence shall be applied in the said relation and at the other hand, the Court have directed the male, in question, to share the all financial and social burden of the said lady, which is to protect the women, this reflect the kind heartedness and sympathetic toward our woman, who, willingly, have cross the limit of the society and putting her own parent on dock.
